Utilising it's years of turbine powerplant experience, along with its European partner APM, Fields Airmotive offers support for industrial gas turbine engines, such as the PW GG4 & FT4 and Rolls Royce derivative engines adapted for industrial use. This work is either performed at our Rand Airport facility or at the location of the powerplant unit.
Fields Airmotive's welding and machine shop is available for welding and machine work to general industry, in addition to the aerospace industry. Fields Airmotive has a range of Combustion Chamber welding jigs in house.
Welding personnel are subject to annual testing at South African Airways (SAA) to ensure high standards and quality to you, the customer.
